Warren Haynes’ Christmas Jam steps it up

Asheville residents looking to boogie at the yearly Christmas Jam will get an early present this year. Haynes has decided to "Jam" two nights instead of the traditional one. Warren Haynes’ annual Christmas Jam will be held at the Asheville Civic Center Friday, December 12 and Saturday the 13th.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Jam and the lineup shows it. Among the amazing performances are the Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, Ben Harper, and Coheed & Cambria to name just a few. Of course, Haynes himself will be playing (and he never disappoints!)

Proceeds from the Christmas Jam, as in past years, go to benefit the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity. The Jam is so beneficial, in fact, that it is reported to be the single largest contributor to their efforts to build homes for families in need.

Haynes says he does not expect the double-night Jam to extend into future years, but the option is not off of the table.

Tickets are available by calling or clicking Ticketmaster, or by visiting the Asheville Civic Center box office. They can be reached at (828) 251-5505.
